Description
To solve the treatment of wastewater in the municipality of Fuerte del Rey, which has a population of 1,387 inhabitants. A AAVV is executed that collects the water from the 3 existing discharge points and leads it to the WWTP.
GROUPING OF SPILLS:
The collectors projected for grouping discharges have a combination of impulsion and gravity sections as well as an EBAR.
For the grouping of discharge point 1, it is necessary to raise the residual water to the northern basin of the municipality, for which reason an EBAR is executed next to the Regomello Stream. The installation collects a Ø500 PVC collector and, after going through a roughing process, pumps the water to a load break box located next to the Fuerte del Rey industrial estate. The total delivery length is 735 m in Ø110 HDPE.
The other 2 discharge points are grouped through Ø400 PVC gravity collectors with the execution of 2 spillways to evacuate the flows in rainy seasons. The total length of execution of gravity collectors amounts to 2,496 meters. It should be noted that in order to direct the discharges to the WWTP, it is necessary to execute 2 pilings in Ø600 of Concrete under the A-311.
WWTP:
The WWTP water line is made up of the following elements: Gross well (located on a platform 4 meters above the WWTP level), compact pre-treatment, Imhoff tank, biodiscs, secondary decantation and labyrinth of chlorination.
Regarding the sludge line, the sludge purged from the secondary clarifier is directed towards the recirculation chest from where it is pumped to the head of the Imhoff tank. For its part, the sludge purged from the Imhoff tank is pumped to the centrifuge, then the dehydrated sludge is pumped with a helical screw pump to a container.
In addition, the plant is provided with the necessary elements for its correct operation (instrumentation and control, auxiliary services, electrical installations, etc.) as well as a control building.
