In June 2018, prior to the drafting of this construction project, the Study of Alternatives of the Regeneration Project of Cola Beach T.M. was written. Eagles (Murcia). It concludes that the best option for the defense of the beach is the construction of a breakwater and the artificial recharge of the beach in the eastern part of it.
