Description

The action consisted in the renovation of the sanitation network of the Industrial District of Melilla that due to the lack of hydraulic section generated flood problems. To this end, the section of the so-called main collector was significantly enlarged by the use of GRP pipes with diameters between 1,200 and 2,000 mm. On the other hand, the Barrio's secondary network was replaced, using PVC collectors between 315 and 600 mm, and PRFV from 800 to 1,000 mm for the main branches. A total of more than 6,000 meters of new pipelines were executed, including their pertinent wells of registers, scuppers and connection of connections, along the 40 branches or sections that make up the network, designed for a population of 16,920 inhabitants.
